A note on astrometric data and time varying Sun-Earth distance in the light of Carmeli metric

    Get PDF
In this note, we describe shortly time varying Sun-Earth distance in the light of Carmeli metric and compare the result with recent astrometric data. The graphical plot suggests that there should be linear-linear correspondence between Sun-planets distances and their time variation. Not only that, the prediction made here suggests that Carmeli metric can be the sought after framework in order to describe the astrometric anomaly pertaining to the time varying distance of the Sun-Earth distance, and furthermore there are expected time varying distance effect between the Sun and other planets as well

Multivalued Logic, Neutrosophy and Schrodinger equation

    Get PDF
This book was intended to discuss some paradoxes in Quantum Mechanics from the viewpoint of Multi-Valued-logic pioneered by Lukasiewicz, and a recent concept Neutrosophic Logic. Essentially, this new concept offers new insights on the idea of ‘identity’, which too often it has been accepted as given. Neutrosophy itself was developed in attempt to generalize Fuzzy-Logic introduced by L. Zadeh. While some aspects of theoretical foundations of logic are discussed, this book is not intended solely for pure mathematicians, but instead for physicists in the hope that some of ideas presented herein will be found useful. The book is motivated by observation that despite almost eight decades, there is indication that some of those paradoxes known in Quantum Physics are not yet solved. In our knowledge, this is because the solution of those paradoxes requires re-examination of the foundations of logic itself, in particular on the notion of identity and multi-valuedness of entity. The book is also intended for young physicist fellows who think that somewhere there should be a ‘complete’ explanation of these paradoxes in Quantum Mechanics. If this book doesn’t answer all of their questions, it is our hope that at least it offers a new alternative viewpoint for these old questions

A Sketch of Consciousness Space Beyond Freudian Mental Model and Implications to Socio-Economics Modeling and Integrative Cancer Therapy

    Get PDF
In this paper, we give an outline of an ongoing study to go beyond Freudian mental archetypal model. First, we discuss the essence of numerous problems that we suffer in our sophisticated and modernized society. Then we discuss possibility to reintroduce spirit into human consciousness. While we are aware that much remain to be done and we admit that this is only a sketch, we hope that this paper will start a fresh approach of research towards more realistic nonlinear consciousness model with wide ranging implications to socio-economic modeling and also integrative cancer therapy. At the last section we also shortly outline plausible method to vindicate our proposed boson-fermion model of human society in a physical experiment

This book consists of 6 papers focusing on social and economic issues. The topics covered include graph distance and optimal communication, migration in Jaipur, urbanization, clan capitalism, world population growth rate, and scientific inquiry. These papers were written in the period between 20092010. Hopefully the readers will find some new insights in this collection of papers

    One-Note-Samba Approach to Cosmology

    Get PDF
Inspired by One Note Samba, a standard jazz repertoire, we present an outline of Bose-Einstein Condensate Cosmology. Although this approach seems awkward and a bit off the wall at first glance, it is not impossible to connect altogether BEC, Scalar Field Cosmology and Feshbach Resonance with Ermakov-Pinney equation. We also briefly discuss possible link with our previous paper which describes Newtonian Universe with Vortex in terms of Ermakov equation

On Some Metaphysical Problems of Many Worlds Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics

Despite its enormous practical success, many physicists and philosophers alike agree that the quantum theory is full of contradictions and paradoxes which are difficult to solve consistently. Even after 90 years, the experts themselves still do not all agree what to make of it. The area of disagreement centers primarily around the problem of describing observations. Formally, the socalled quantum measurement problem can be defined as follows: the result of a measurement is a superposition of vectors, each representing the quantity being observed as having one of its possible values

On Cosmological Magnetic Fields, Extended Navier-Stokes equation, and Newtonian Raychaudhury equation

    Get PDF
ABSTRACT Traditionally it has been argued that due to the electric neutrality of the universe on large scales, the only relevant interaction in cosmology should be gravitation. However, the behavior of electromagnetic fields on astrophysical and cosmological scales is still far from clear, the most evident example being the unknown origin of magnetic fields observed in galaxies and galaxy clusters. Therefore, in the present paper I will explore how cosmological magnetic fields can play some roles in the form of extended electromagnetism, Newtonian version of Raychaudhury equation, and also extended covariant Navier-Stokes equation. Then this may be viewed as a way to generalize Navier-Stokes systems on Cantor Sets. Further investigation can be recommended

Towards Gross-Pitaevskiian Description of Solar System & Galaxies

    Get PDF
In this paper, we argue that Gross-Pitaevskii model can be a more complete description of both solar system and spiral galaxies, especially taking into account the nature of chirality and vortices in galaxies. We also hope to bring out some correspondence among existing models, e.g., the topological vortex approach, Burgers equation in the light of KAM theory, and the Cantorian Navier-Stokes approach. We hope further investigation can be done around this line of approach

An outline of cellular automaton universe via cosmological KdV equation

It has been known for long time that the cosmic sound wave was there since the early epoch of the Universe. Signatures of its existence are abound. However, such a sound wave model of cosmology is rarely developed fully into a complete framework. This paper can be considered as our second attempt towards such a complete description of the Universe based on soliton wave solution of cosmological KdV equation. Then we advance further this KdV equation by virtue of Cellular Automaton method to solve the PDEs. We submit wholeheartedly Robert Kuruczs hypothesis that Big Bang should be replaced with a finite cellular automaton universe with no expansion [4][5]. Nonetheless, we are fully aware that our model is far from being complete, but it appears the proposed cellular automaton model of the Universe is very close in spirit to what Konrad Zuse envisaged long time ago. It is our hope that the new proposed method can be verified with observation data. But we admit that our model is still in its infancy, more researches are needed to fill all the missing detail
